Oh Myka Rae, how you have grown! Now, 9 years old and a 3rd grader! Seems like just yesterday you and Taylor were 4, dressing up in your princess outfits, putting on make-up, throwing rocks through your house window, oh and somebody put a giant hole in your moms wall (oh boy!), driving your barbie jeeps all over the neighborhood and pushing your babies up and down the sidewalk! I could go on and on....

Happy Birthday Miss Myka...and tell your parents I still have the adoption papers stored away if they ever change their mind!

Father Daughter Dance 2008

The Brownsburg Rec Center sponsored this wonderful free event..There were pictures, dancing, crafts, coloring and refreshments...We anticipated our husbands to be in at 7 and out by 7:30..So you can imagine our surprise when they came in at 9:15 claiming to have "closed the place down"..This was a big "to do" for sure...their one complaint was that they were under dressed with many in their best suits and ties and some even rolled out their tuxedos..WHOA! Nonetheless, they all seemed to have had a fabulous evening and will look forward to it in the years to come!

The girls looked so pretty and so grown-up...Kelli even got them Beautiful sweetheart rose corsages...

Tay, Danielle and Gracie...They had a wonderful evening dancing, doing crafts, coloring and most importantly getting all of their dads' attention!!

The boys were a little upset when they learned they were stuck staying home with the moms' but, they survived...

Good Movies, Good Times--GOODBYE

I was just about Taylor's age when i made my first trip to the Clermont Deluxe with my aunt,uncle and cousins..we saw many great movies laying in the back of their El Camino...In High School several of us would make the trip from Greencastle and hide in the trunk through admission to save money...My friends would bring their kids and we would all go to the drive-in for a "night out"..When our friends from Utah asked about things to do we directed them here and they loved it.... After Valentine's Day it won't be anything more than a vacant lot....

ORP has exciting plans for a campground or parking lot!
